Has anyone else played this yet? I bought it on tuesday (actually I reserved a copy over a year ago) anyhow I beat it last night with one of my friends. The game is ausome, great graphics, extremely good sound (the background music is sweet), and the multiplayer is as good as the first one. The only downfall is that the ending will leave you crying for more, because it really isn't an ending it is a huge TO BE CONTINUED (doesn't actually say this) at the worst possible time. My friend and I were getting ready for the next level which we knew was going to be sick, then the credits rolled and we were like WTF!?! where is the rest!! Other than that minor blemish it is a fantastic game with a great story.

It always feels weird to me when a company's spent years developing this uber game, great everything, it finally gets released amongst much hype, and then, within a couple of days, it's all over. You've beaten it, you're done.

how many hours did it take you and your friends to complete the entire game.

you think halo 2 is shorter then the first halo, cause i never finished that one. its just collecting dust on shelf with the rest of the games i never cared to finish. i'm not saying that i didn't like the first halo. i just didn't finish. I practically never finish none of the games i start. I'll get to the end of a game, get stuck, and never play it again. i've had every nba live since 2000 and i've gotten finished past the first round of the play offs.

anyway, Mordy u how many playing hours was it?

Muad'Dib

p.s thanks for the help.

It was about 10-12 hours from start to finish on normal. I haven't played through Heroic or Legendary yet, but I get the feeling that they are going to be significantly harder and will probably take much longer. But the most important part of the game is the multiplayer, it has 2-player co-op, up to four people on one xbox, system link and xbox live, definetly the multiplayer game of the year.

Unfortunately, I can't stand split-screen multiplayer for coop, and nobody else I know has an XBox.

No one replied? Who's out there? What kind of site have I signed on to? Is everyone asleep? I loved Halo 2---in fact, am playing it for the fifth time --like you, I'm crying for more. I did find it an easier play than Halo, but being able to play the alien--that was awesome. I just hope we don't have to wait years for Halo 3 to be released.
