Saw A Feast For Crows in the bokstore today! :D

Took a while for it to register, I saw it, saw the title, and thought 'Hmmm I thought I bought that a week ago with a different cover', then looked at the author, let my brain work a few moments...

'Hey, GRRM doesn't write Wheel of Time... Waitasec.. GRRM... OMFG!!! IT'S HERE! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!'

I make a new vow, one weighed in experience and proclaimed with my eyes open: I will not raise my scimitars except in defense: in defense of my principles, of my life, or of others who cannot defend themselves. I will not do battle to further the causes of false prophets, to further the treasures of kings, or to avenge my own injured pride.

Crap. That sucks. UK/Australia huh? Now... have you read it? I have heard less than fantastic things. I'm gonna miss not having Jon/Dany.

Nevertheless, I read the uh, Kraken thingie, which was four chapters from the Iron Islands. Very engaging, and seemed like classic Martin to me. Couldn't but it down.

I'm really curious to know how Euron's travels treated him. Obvioulsy he knows about Dany, and has found the horn which can only spell trouble for her. I think the last thing anyone would want is the dragons controlled by a Greyjoy.

Still, very curious to see what you made of it.
