I'm wondering if anyone is still hanging around here? I mean, I know there are a few... any ideas on numbers? Better yet - if you are still hanging around, say 'Hi' here. :)

Hi Back.

We're still hanging around, that is, Ma'shiara and I. She can't log on anymore, no matter how many times she tried, but both of us check on the board often, for old time's sake. It's a shame it's all gone. Oh well.

Be well, everyone.

I'm still around. I check for signs of life every week or so.

I'll talk to Ishamael about that; this new Inspiration is his baby, and I've got no idea how its all set up. I'm sure he can fix it, though.

Mordy, how are ya doing? It's been ages, I know, but I can only plead business with work. I love my job, though, and that's something...

Welcome to Dragonsworn, Daklore. I fear that most of our best days are in the past, but one never knows what the future may hold, no? Anyways, I've read AFFC, but it was about 6 months ago now, so its not so fresh in the brain. I just got it back from a friend, so I'll stick it on the reread stack. I know my brother had a love/hate relationship with the book, though.

Yes, I'm still in here. Sometime this fall... sometime this fall. Will fix that login thing at some point. I've been felled by an apostrophe.

Good to see you guys are kicking around still. AFFC left me just hungry for more. Gosh.

Hey, dalThor? I've got the fixed username and password - apparently the ' was what mixed things up. Give me a shout on AIM (DGN rtdean) or Google Talk (rtdean<at>gmail<dot>com) or on email (rtdean<at>tcamail<dot>net) and I'll get the info to you.

Hey Bosses,

Just checking in and saw the thread, hope everybody is doing well. It's been a long time since any activity, it's good to see somebody doing more than lurking these boards.

Btw, RD how did losing weight by walking around DC work out for you?

Peace out,

lee

It worked pretty well while I was still walking around DC and eating well. I don't know when I last spoke on the topic, but I've moved out of the city now and live in a suburb. I don't have to walk a mile to my car any more, and I've been eating out more than I probably should of late. It happens though, I suppose.

I'm back! Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I'm still checking the board occasionally, who knows, maybe it will come to life again.

As far as personal news go... We had us a long summer fixing up our own place and we moved here a month ago, and there are still lots of things to be done. I got assigned to a school nearby, and for the first time ever I get to teach first graders.. the most cruel and unusual punishment known to man. or woman.

Everyone told me I'd love 'the little ones'. Well, it's been nearly three weeks and I'm fed up with little people who can't sit in their chairs for more than fifteen minutes, can't stay in line, can't hold a pencil right yet, forget how to spell their name, forget to bring any books... And what's up with the wanting to go to the bathroom every twenty minutes? And why is it contageous, and if one needs to go another five need to go?

This is my sixth year as a teacher, I'm used to older kids that I can reason with...

I have been well... Just work, school, giving up the religion I was born into, and living in a new place with some friends.

I... am... ALIVE!!!

I don't check the boards very often, but believe it or not, I still keep re-reading the old magazines. I really like the poetry and music in them.

I make a new vow, one weighed in experience and proclaimed with my eyes open: I will not raise my scimitars except in defense: in defense of my principles, of my life, or of others who cannot defend themselves. I will not do battle to further the causes of false prophets, to further the treasures of kings, or to avenge my own injured pride.

Despite common rumors, Aginor is not undead nor does he smell like fish mulch. He shakes his fist with vigor towards Ishie in demands for Taco Polka Party!

Aginor has been busy, very busy, existing wherever he is at at the time. It takes a great deal of effort, existing. Overcoming the entropic forces of destiny and the cold death of the universe is nigh on the order of shotputting a spiked cow into your own groin with a meat weasel.

Which, as all reports say, are some measure of difficult to acquire from the get go. Both Meat Weasel's and Spiked Cows.

Aginor notes that there is a new wormy wormling worming his wormy self all over the forums... I say to the thing, DO NOT SLIME MY SHOES, for they are expensive imports from the Age of Wonders, where Icecream flowed free from the mountains and other people's skulls were full of chocolate. If you disbelieve my claims, Bessy shall endeavor to reveal that your OWN skull does in fact contain caremalized goodness with a hint of liquer!

Hmm.

Aginor supposes the original question was the point of some formal response.

Of all the people I expected to see posting!Well, I have to say, it's good to see that you're still around My Lord... even though you seem to be making even less sense that usual.

Whatever it is you're drinking seems to be doing wonders... can I have some?
