Hmmm, no reviews yet...Nobody seen it ? Certainly not...

Anyhow, on my movie watching-spree *this* was the most anticipated (it was still being shown, fortunately...)
And hell, what a damn good flick...!

I remember watching part 1 and feeling somewhat less than completely blown away by it...Great action, sure, and a lot of it, and some great characters, but I felt the dialogue was less engrossing than in Tarantino's previous outings...

Which was completely compensated for in part 2 (Still, a shame it was cut into two...I can see why, but still...). What a mind-blowing melange of weird, bizarre and touching lines (and complete paragraphs) ! And the humour ! Priceless...Truly inspired stuff...

And, of course, the ending we all knew was coming, but twisted so magnicifently it brought an actual tear to my eye...Which happened the last time when my baby was born...

A very deep bow to Mr. Tarantino...May he live long and prosperous and take as long as he damn well wants to finish his next masterpiece...! (Now why does that ring a bell...?)

I will update it so the posts on inspiration have links to the reviews, but for now it's over here

I gotta disagree with you, and I make my argument in the review. It was still fantastic, no doubt - but I don't think it entirely held up to the pacing, and expectations (action wise) of the first one. Yes, a marevellous story, and a good ending - but an action point of view the showdown with bill could have been a bit more.

I think this part of the board is totally misunderstood.
The reviews are not here... they are in the reviews section... here you comment on the reviews, disagree or not, etc.
You don't post new reviews here, like..umm.. some did... you post them on the silver screen part of the board. Good Luck.

Oops, my bad...

I did indeed think this was about posting reviews, so - yes - I misunderstood completely...

And I'll admit I'm not the sharpest tool (or however that saying goes...)

P.S. : this obviously applies to my other 'reviews' in this section, as I had some time on my hands...
